Question:

My family and I have kept, what we believe is, a A.R. Arredamenti formal camelback + chesterfield styled sofa with a rich coffee colored velvet fabric and ornate carved wood (circa 1970-1980).

We are debating whether to dispose of the piece versus invest in its resuscitation. We cannot seem to find any information of Arredamenti. Have you heard of this brand or have any insight on this formal Italian style? Thanks.

The company was started in 1967 and specializes in wood turnings and carvings. This includes exposed wood frame upholstered furniture.

It is a very ornate style and is expensive. If you like the style it should be well worth reupholstering.
