How Do I Fix a Sofa That Leans Forwards?

By Jeff Frank

Question:

My sofa leans forward. Is there a diy fix I can try? Thanks.

Answer:

If your legs are screw-on, the simple fix is to buy new front legs that are 1 inch higher than the ones you currently have.

Since most sofas are positioned so that you can’t see the front and rear legs at the same time, you don’t need to worry about whether the legs match in style.

You can find replacement sofa legs on Amazon, Home Depot and many other places.

There are a few online wholesalers who sell replacement legs in small quantities at much lower prices.
